Ana Lopez, Executive Director has been selected as one of the five recipients of the 2009 Exponent Award given by the Eugene and Agnes E. Meyer Foundation. The goal of the Exponent Award is to celebrate visionary nonprofit leaders in Greater Washington, raise their visibility, and increase their leadership skills.
Community Bridges awarded Nourishing Heart Award through the Montgomery County Community Foundation.

Chosen for inclusion in the 2008-09 Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington

Named one of "40 for a Better Future" by Washingtonian Magazine, for our work to "strengthen the bodies and spirits of young Washingtonians and give them the tools needed to build better futures."
